When not using a gateway, AleoBlue™️ devices can run schedules locally through in-node scheduling, so they need a shared, accurate time source. The Real Time Clock, allows the network to implement accurate scheduling without a gateway and with lower cost.

That’s where the AB-RTC-PRM-ANM AleoBlue™️ Real Time Clock comes in. As a plug-in Network Time Authority with an integrated range extender, it provides synchronized time across the network and enables scheduling and sequences of operation without a gateway.
